Nicholas Worthington DORSEY438,439 was born on 1 November 1759 in , Anne Arundel, MD.98,439 He served in the military in 1778 in Maryland in the Revolutionary War.440 He died on 16 October 1821 at the age of 61 in Montgomery Co, MD.98,439 ...was a volunteer in the Flying Camp in 1776, and on the seventeenth day of April 1777 the said Nicholas Dorsey received the Comission of Lieutenant in the fourth Maryland Regiment under Captin Samuel Godman...commanded by Colonel Howard and resigned his commission on the 10th day fo November 1778...was in several engagements - Brandy Wine, German Town and Monmouth.
