Reuben Merriweather DORSEY was born on 5 November 1796 in Anne Arundel Co, MD.⁶⁵⁵ He died on 23 November 1880 at the age of 84 in Arcadia, Howard, MD.⁶⁵⁶ He was buried on 25 November 1880 at Dorsey Graveyard at Arcadia in Ellicott City, Howard, MD.^657,658,659 Anne Arundel Gentry, p 141: Reuben Meriweather Dorsey maintained his seat at "Arcadia" which according to the Census of 1850 was appraised at $60,000. He died on November 22, 1880, and is buried beside his two wives at Arcadia. His widow died on October 18, 1895.
