Mrs. Cynthia Gray Hammond Adams, 81, died Thursday in the home of her son Walter Adams. She was a daughter of Alden and Elizabeth Hammond. Her father arrived in Stockton in 1852 after crossing the Isthmus of Panama on a donkey. He came here from Newport, RI.
