 Being of Sound mind and disposing memory yet realizing the uncertainty of life, and with a heart full of thanksgiving and praise to an all-wise and merciful God
I Fernando T Scott of Shelby county near Germantown Tenn make this my last will and testament, revoking all others heretofore made by me
1. I will and bequeathe to my beloved wife Sallie M. Scott one hundred and Sixty acres of ground(160) in fee Simple to be used by her for her benefit and the benefit of her children, at or after my death  The land is bounded north by the M & C Rail Road, east by the land owned by the heirs of Mrs. Joan Lindley Scott my first wife South by G. W. Thomas, west by the Holly Ford Road
To all my other legal heirs living, ten dollars each to be paid by my executor of this my will and testament  This will is made for the reason that I used the money of my present wife in securing the above mentioned tract of land.
 
2. I do hereby appoint my wife Sallie M. Scott to be my Sole executrix without oaths or bond This the 19th day of May 1892
