6. Sarah ROBERTS was born about 1772 in Louisa Co, VA.113,114 She died before 1796 at the age of 24 in Louisa Co, VA.115

Sarah ROBERTS and William Rowe BELLOMY were married on 22 October 1792 in Louisa Co, VA.28,116,117 William Rowe BELLOMY, son of John BELLOMY and Susan ROWE, was born on 11 November 1768 in Hanover Co, VA.118 On 14 June 1802 he acquired 142 acres from Morris Roberts in Louisa Co, VA33 Deed Book J

This Indenture made this fourteenth day of June 1802, between Morris
Robarts and Elizabeth his wife of the County of Louisa of the one part and William Bellomy of the said County of the other part witnesseth that the said Morris Robarts and Elizabeth his wife for and in consideration of the sum of thirty one pounds six shillings lawful money paid to them in hand paid by the said William Bellomy at and before the sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge, hath by these presents granted bargained & sold unto the said William Bellomy one certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of Louisa containing by survey one hundred and forty two acres (more or less) and bounded as follows (Viz) beginning at a spanish oak, thence north forty five degrees east one hundred and eight poles to a shrubby white oak saplin Hence north five degrees west 158 poles to a pine, thence west one hundred and forty three poles to two pines on M. Roberts’s line, thence south four degrees east sixty six poles to a pine in said line, thence south twenty seven degrees east, one hundred and twenty poles to several white oak sapling thence south eight degrees east ninety two poles to the beginning. To have and to hold the said tract or parcell of land unto the said William Bellomy his heirs and assigns forever and the said Morris Roberts and Elizabeth his wife for themselves and their heirs to covenant & agree with the said William Bellomy that they will warrant & forever defend the right & title of the said land free from the claim or claims of themselves and their heirs and against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever – In witness whereof they the said Morris Roberts and Elizabeth his wife have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals the day & year within

At a court held for Louisa County on the 14th day of June 1802 this deed was This day in open Court acknowledged by Morris Roberts to be his act and deed And by the Court is ordered to be recorded.
He signed a will on 22 February 1831 in Louisa Co, VA.119 In the name of God amen, I William R. Bellomy of Louisa County and State of Virginia being of sound mind and recollection and knowing that it is appointed unto all men once to die and after death to Judgment, and being desirous to dispose of all such earthly property as it has pleased Got to bless me with: do make and ordain this my last will and testament revoking
all others whatsoever, in manner and form as follows Viz: Item. First, I desire that my funeral expences be first paid Item. In next desire that all my just debts be paid; Item. I give to my son Thomas Bellomy my stud horse for the
special purpose of paying a certain debt due to the Union Company be same little or much which has no reference to his legacy hereafter named. Item. Elisha F. Bellomy having received a horse worth thirty dollars and Ambrose Bellomy a horse worth Twenty five dollars, I desire that each of them pay their respective sums to my estate, before they come in for their legacy hereafter named. Item. I give to my son Benjamin Bellomy one yoke of oxen in addition to his legacy hereafter named. Item. I give to my dear beloved wife Mary Bellomy the tract of land whereon I now reside containing one hundred & forty two acres be the same more or less and all its appurtenances together with all the personal property that I may die possessed of, during her natural life and at her decease to be equally divided between my seven children Elisha F Bellomy, Ambrose F Bellomy, John Bellomy, Thomas Bellomy, Benjamin W. Bellomy, William B. Bellomy, Reuben W. Bellomy and their heirs and to my son James M. Bellomy by my first wife I give the sum of five dollars to be paid out of my estate by executor hereafter named.
And lastly I do hereby constitute my friend Robert D. Williams, Robert T. Martin and son Thomas Bellomy, my Executors of this my last will and testament. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my had and affixed my seal this twenty second of February Eighteen hundred & thirty one.

James X Morris William died before 18 September 1833 at the age of 64 in Louisa Co, VA.120,121 He had his estate probated on 9 December 1833 in Louisa, Louisa, VA.122 In Louisa County Court December the 9th 1883
The last will and testament of William R. Bellomy deceased was this day exhibited in open Court and was proved by the oaths of William Allen
and James Morris the witnesses thereto and by the Court ordered to be recorded And on the motion of Robert T. Martin one of the Executors named in the said will who made oaths according to law and together with Robert D. Williams his security who justified on oath as to his sufficiency entered into and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of six hundred dollars Conditioned as the law directs a Certificate is granted him for obtaining a probat of said will in due form.
