Vandercliff (Vanderklyf) NORWOOD was baptized on 12 March 1735 at Reformed Dutch Church in New York, NY, NY.389 He was born in 1735 in New York, NY, NY.390 He Voted for representative in 1768 in New York, NY, NY.391 Vandercliff went to court to Charged with trespass on 5 August 1773 in New York, NY, NY392 He lived in New York, NY, NY on 16 October 1776.393 He died on 2 March 1798 at the age of 63 in New York, NY, NY.394 Vandercliff was buried on 3 March 1798 in Dutch Reformed Church, New York City, NY, NY.394 Deposition given by A. S. Norwood, 20 May 1854 states:
Deponent further says that a brother of his father, named Cliff or Clifford Norwood, was murdered during the period of the Revolution, as was supposed by foreign soldiers, and his said uncle was buried in Trinity Church yard.
(In fact, Vandercliff Norwood was his father, Tobias's, first cousin.)

Vanderclyff Norwood is indicted for tespass. 5 Aug 1773. Continued. 6 Aug 1733. Discharged 4 Nov 1773.

23 Jan 1769 - New York City - Listed on the Poll List - Freeman, but not Freeholder -

16 Oct 1776 - signer of the petition submitted to Gen Howe after the British had re-taken New York.

Vandercliff (Vanderklyf) NORWOOD and Jane MITSCHEL were married on 7 February 1756 in New York, NY, NY.395,396 Jane MITSCHEL was born (date unknown).
